Amy O’Neil

amy01Amy has been a REALTOR associated with McCrocklin & Associates, Inc., since October of 1989. Born in Houston, moved to Wimberley at 6 years of age and never left the Central Texas area. Her family roots are deeply embedded in the Wimberley/Fischer/Canyon Lake area, especially since her Grandfather Rohan managed many of the ranches in the area, such as Twin Bluffs, 4M Ranch, and the McMurry Ranch which is now known to folks as Canyon Lake.

Amy’s father, Grayden Meyer, was an Aeronautical Engineer who worked for Boeing, John Hopkins University, NASA, Martin-Marietta, and Philco-Ford before permanently moving the family to Wimberley and starting his own businesses: ranching, construction, real estate, and computer programming. All three of the children in the family had to help out in as many aspects of the business as possible, so Amy’s roots in real estate and technology are very well grounded.

Amy and her husband, Mike, married in Wimberley in 1983, and have raised two children through the Wimberley School District. She has been a very active parent in the youth organizations, having been President of the Wimberley Soccer Association; Coaching youth baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer; Adult Leader in the Wimberley 4-H Rabbit project and Hays County coordinator for the 4-H Shooting sports; FFA & Athletic Booster.

At home, Amy’s homestead looks much like her life – busy and full of animals and kids. Besides the 4 cats and 1 black Labrador retriever, there are anywhere from 2 to 12 rabbits, 2 to 3 goats, and the occasional visiting cows & calves from the rancher next door. Besides playing table tennis with the kids, tending to all the animals, doing a little gardening, the O’Neil’s love to go down to the Blanco River to swim and fish.

She is a member of the Austin Board of REALTORS and a member in both the Austin Central Texas Real Estate Information System and the Central Texas (San Marcos/New Braunfels/Seguin) Multiple Listing Service. Customer service is and always will be her first priority.
